{"id":15,"date":"2013-10-24T14:04:50","date_gmt":"2013-10-24T19:04:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.davecruver.com\/?p=15"},"modified":"2014-01-20T12:05:08","modified_gmt":"2014-01-20T17:05:08","slug":"putting-on-the-whole-armor-of-god-which-is-christ","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.davecruver.com\/?p=15","title":{"rendered":"Putting on the Whole Armor of God Which is Christ"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Finally,\u00a0be strong in the Lord and in\u00a0the strength of his might.\u00a0Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against\u00a0the schemes of the devil.\u00a0For\u00a0we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against\u00a0the rulers, against the authorities, against\u00a0the cosmic powers over\u00a0this present darkness, against\u00a0the spiritual forces of evil\u00a0in the heavenly places.\u00a0Therefore\u00a0take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in\u00a0the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.Stand therefore,\u00a0having fastened on the belt of truth, and\u00a0having put on the breastplate of righteousness,\u00a0and,\u00a0as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.\u00a0In all circumstances take up\u00a0the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all\u00a0the flaming darts of\u00a0the evil one;\u00a0and take\u00a0the helmet of salvation, and\u00a0the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,\u00a0praying\u00a0at all times\u00a0in the Spirit,with all prayer and supplication.
